Barcelona Sign Mexican Defender Julian Araujo on Three-and-a-Half-Year Contract.

Julian Araujo, a 20-year-old Mexican defender from LA Galaxy, has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with FC Barcelona until June 2026. 

The player will begin training with the Barca Atletic team, which is coached by Rafael Marquez. Due to incomplete paperwork, Araujo can only train for the moment and not participate in matches. 

Barcelona missed the January transfer window deadline by 18 seconds but has filed an appeal with the Court for Arbitration in Sport to make the defender available for this season.
