New Salary Scale Released for Mulago National Referral Hospital Staff.

Mulago National Referral Hospital administrators and staff are set to receive new salary scales following the release of a new structure by the government. 

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Service, Catherine Bitarakwate, announced the approved monthly salaries in a letter dated March 9. 

The executive director of the hospital will earn Shs15.1m per month while the deputy executive director will earn Shs13.3m. 

The new structure will also benefit employees in other positions such as the senior personal secretary, office attendant, and driver, who will earn Shs933,461 and Shs221,987 per month, respectively. 

The government will spend approximately Shs94 billion annually on Mulago hospital salaries based on the new structure.
