Buganda Kingdom and Airtel Uganda partner, launch 2023 Kabaka Birthday Run.

Buganda Kingdom and Airtel Uganda have teamed up to launch the 2023 Kabaka Birthday Run aimed at combating the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Uganda.

The launch, which was held at the Buganda Kingdom Headquarters, was presided over by the Katikiro of Buganda Kingdom, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, and Airtel Uganda's Managing Director, Manoj Murali.

The run, scheduled for April 16, 2023, will be flagged off by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

The event aims to raise awareness and support efforts to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Buganda and Uganda as a whole, under the theme "The fight to end HIV/AIDS by 2030."
