Putin congratulates Xi Jinping on his re-election as Chinese President.

Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed warm congratulations to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, on his election as Chinese president. 

Putin commended Xi for his high prestige as the head of state and for his formulated strategies to promote China's economic and social development, as well as safeguarding China's interests on the international stage. 

Putin expressed his appreciation for Xi's contribution to strengthening the Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination, and expressed confidence in the continued fruitful results of Russia-China cooperation in various fields. 

Putin stated his commitment to maintaining close communication and coordination with Xi on significant regional and international issues and hoped that Xi would achieve new and greater accomplishments in promoting the welfare of the Chinese people.
