Kambuga Hospital to be Upgraded to Regional Referral Hospital with Renovation Kickoff.

The commencement of renovation works at Kambuga Hospital was officiated by a group of high-ranking officials, including Minister for Health, Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister for ICT Hon Chris Baryomunsi, and Hon. Patience Nkunda. 

The leadership of Kanungu District and MOH Top leadership were also present for the ceremony. The hospital is set to be upgraded to a Regional Referral Hospital upon completion of the refurbishment works.

The refurbishment will be carried out in phases, with a focus on the Maternity, Male and Female & Pediatric wards in the current fiscal year, followed by the OPD and imaging center. 

The implementation of the project will be a joint effort by the Ministry of Defense through UPDF Engineering Brigade and Kanungu District Local Government.
