Sinotrack loaded with sand causes lockup on Northern Bypass and Masaka Road.

A traffic jam of epic proportions ensued on the Northern bypass and Masaka road after a Sinotrack carrying sand experienced two tire bursts, obstructing the flow of traffic.

The resulting gridlock has affected motorists commuting to and from Masaka, prompting traffic officials to recommend alternate routes such as Buddo-Bunamwaya-Kitebi-Kabuusu.

However, efforts to remove the vehicle have been impeded by the load and the truck's precarious positioning on the road.

The situation has caused significant inconvenience to commuters, and the KMP Traffic Commander, SSP RK Nsereko, apologizes for the disruption while reassuring the public that efforts to resolve the issue are ongoing.
