Vehicles vandalized in Katabi Town Council, police recover stolen number plates.

In the early hours of March 19, 2023, a string of thefts occurred in Katabi Town Council, resulting in three motor vehicles being vandalized and items stolen from inside them. 

The affected vehicles, a Sienta, an RV 4, and a Toyota Wish, were quickly reported to the Katabi police station, who promptly dispatched their canine section and a team of officers to the scene.

Thanks to the use of sophisticated tracking techniques, the canine section was able to recover the first two number plates of the stolen vehicles, which were discovered abandoned in a nearby banana plantation within Katabi council Ebb division. 

Though no suspects have been caught, the police are actively pursuing leads and conducting further investigations.

We applaud the Katabi police station and the canine section for their swift response and effective recovery of the stolen items.
