Esteemed sports commentator Peter Drury is set to join Sky Sports for their coverage of Premier League football starting from the 2023/24 season.
Peter Drury, a renowned British sports commentator, currently holds the position of lead main (play-by-play) commentator for Sky Sports' Premier League broadcasts in the United Kingdom. Prior to this new venture, Drury served as the lead main commentator for CBS Sports.
While joining Sky Sports, Drury will also continue his freelance work for Amazon Prime Video, where he contributes to their Premier League coverage in the UK. Additionally, he remains engaged with BT Sport for their coverage of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. Drury's talents are further sought after by Host Broadcast Services (HBS) for his contributions to the English-language world feed of the men's FIFA World Cup, as well as by Gravity Media for the English-language world feed of the men's UEFA European Championship.
In recent years, Drury lent his expertise to CBS Sports, providing English-language commentary for their coverage of the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League between 2020 and 2022. He also collaborated with Pitch International, delivering commentary for the English-language world feed of the EFL Cup until 2022.
Drury's earlier career included a stint at
