Manchester United Part Ways with Head Coach Ruben Amorim.

Image
Manchester United has announced that Ruben Amorim is no longer the team's Head Coach. Amorim joined the club in November 2024. During his time in charge, he led the "Red Devils" to the final of the UEFA Europa League in Bilbao last May. However, the team is currently in sixth place in the Premier League. Because of this, the club's leaders decided it was time for a change. They believe a new coach will give the team a better chance to finish higher in the league standings by the end of the season. In a short statement, the club thanked Ruben for his hard work and wished him the very best in his future career.

Premier League: Luton Town's Tom Lockyer 'stable' after collapsing

Image
We all hope and pray for our leader and captain Tom Lockyer, who is thankfully responsive and has been taken to hospital. We don’t know the full extent of what happened and what the next steps are at this stage, but we thank Bournemouth and the medical staff on both sides for their immediate response, which was absolutely amazing. We are sorry to all supporters present that players from both sides were in no state of mind to continue with the game after seeing their much-loved team-mate and friend taken off like that, and staff could not carry on with managing the game in such circumstances having had to deal with the situation. We thank everyone for the wonderful applause and singing of Locks’ name inside the stadium at such a difficult time. Now is the time for all of our players, staff and supporters to come together as we always do and give our love and support to Tom and his family. Our thoughts are with him and them all.

Arsenal Snatches Victory from Aston Villa with Last-Minute Goal by Jorginho.

Image
Arsenal appeared to be on the brink of another setback in the title race against Aston Villa at Villa Park.  Despite coming from behind twice, Martin Odegaard's open goal miss with only 12 minutes remaining had left Arsenal's title hopes hanging by a thread.  It seemed to be a familiar tale of Arsenal's title challenge crumbling before their eyes. However, with just three minutes of added time remaining, Jorginho's unstoppable drive hit the bar, then bounced off Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez's head and over the line.  Arsenal supporters erupted with joy, while Villa fans watched in disbelief. The result was even more satisfying for Arsenal supporters, as their former keeper Martinez was the man who had inadvertently gifted them the win.  The victory was even sweeter given that Martinez had not endeared himself to Arsenal fans since his departure from the Emirates. Arsenal had come to Villa Park expecting to be the victims of the "law of the ex" ...
