President Museveni Recovering from Covid-19, Receives Messages of Goodwill from Ugandans

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, currently in self-isolation after testing positive for Covid-19, is reported to be in high spirits and making steady progress in his recovery. 

According to Dr. Kenneth Omona, the President's Principal Private Secretary, who spoke to reporters at Nakasero State Lodge on June 12, 2023, President Museveni is feeling much better and has the ability to provide updates on his health through his social media channels. 

The optimistic news came as Minister of State for Kampala, Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye, presented a banner filled with well-wishes from Ugandans to President Museveni, expressing hope for his swift and complete recovery.
