Investigation Launched into Animal Killing in Nakaseke District.
Nakaseke's Territorial Police has launched an investigation into a distressing incident involving the killing of animals that took place on May 25, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM in Mabaale Village, Kiwoko Town Council. Authorities were alerted to the scene and promptly deployed a Canine Sniffer dog to aid in the investigation.
The highly trained police dog quickly picked up a scent and diligently tracked it, leading officers to a residence belonging to an individual identified as Buraimu Onguyo. As the officers approached the premises, they encountered Onguyo's son, Mugisha Wabwire, who happened to be in the middle of a bath. Sensing trouble, Wabwire abruptly fled from the bathroom shelter and sought refuge within a nearby coffee plantation.
Determined to uncover the truth, a thorough search of the area was conducted, resulting in the discovery of Wabwire's clothing and gumboots, both bearing telltale signs of blood stains. Consequently, authorities promptly took Onguyo into custody on suspicion of involvement in the incident. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Wabwire emerged from the plantation and voluntarily surrendered himself to the police, admitting his participation in the shocking act.
