Capt. Mike Mukula has stepped out of the race for Vice Chairman of the Eastern Region. He is now supporting Mr. David Calvin Echodu. President Museveni said this is a good example of "solution-based leadership." He said it is more important to get things done than to worry about who is in charge. He thanked the two leaders for working together for the good of everyone.

KAMPALA, UGANDA – President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the NRM party chairman, arrived at Kololo Independence Grounds today. He was with the First Lady, Maama Janet Museveni, who is also the Minister of Education and Sports. They are leading the NRM Delegates Conference. The President is giving a special speech to a large crowd of excited delegates. The meeting has a theme: "Building a Shared Prosperity: Investing in Uganda’s Future.” The event is a big moment for the party and its members.

  The National Chairman of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), President Kaguta Museveni, has graced the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds with his presence.  His agenda for the day is to engage with NRM Village Chairpersons from the five divisions of Kampala city and address matters pertaining to strategic development.  Expectations are high as the party faithful anticipate his guidance on key issues.
