Uganda and Kenya Strengthen Ties with New Agreements.

Kampala, Uganda – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda and President William Ruto of Kenya have signed several new agreements, boosting the partnership between their two countries. This brings the total number of cooperation agreements between Uganda and Kenya to 25. The new agreements cover important areas such as: Tourism Fishing and Fish Farming Agriculture and Animal Farming Transport and Roads Cooperation between Standards Bureaus Encouraging Investment Property Rights Support for Small Businesses Trading Across Borders These agreements show that both nations are committed to working more closely together on their economies, increasing trade, and making the East African region more stable. Kenya's President expands school feeding program, benefiting 4M children.

  Kenyan President William Ruto announced plans to significantly expand the reach of the school feeding program during the launch event held in Nairobi. With the aim of addressing the pressing issue of hunger, Ruto pledged to increase the number of children benefitting from the program to 4 million, a substantial rise from the current 1.6 million recipients. The government has allocated an impressive $35.67 million to ensure the successful execution of the program.   In his address, President Ruto expressed his determination to eradicate the disgraceful presence of hunger within the country.
