Airtel signs partnership with Buganda Kingdom.

 


The Airtel telecommunications company has signed a partnership agreement with the Buganda Kingdom to support their cultural heritage and community development initiatives until 2025. 

The Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, announced that this partnership will greatly benefit the kingdom and its people.

 

Under this agreement, Airtel will provide financial support to the Buganda Kingdom for various cultural events and activities, including supporting local businesses, improving healthcare, and promoting education. 

The partnership will also involve the development of infrastructure and other community-based initiatives in the Buganda region.

 

The Buganda Kingdom and Airtel have expressed their enthusiasm for this partnership and its potential to bring positive change to the region. 

Remmie Kisakye, a representative of the Buganda Kingdom, emphasized that this partnership is important for preserving the kingdom's cultural heritage, while Ali Balunywa of Airtel underscored the company's commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
