Namirembe Diocese Joins Uganda Joint Christian Council for Way of the Cross Procession.

Namirembe Diocese has partnered with the Uganda Joint Christian Council to honor the public way of the cross. 

The commemoration, themed “Do good, seek justice, prepare for judgment” draws inspiration from Isaiah 1:17 and Hebrews 9:27. 

Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira led the procession from the centenary house, the Diocesan offices, to the old Kampala Secondary School playground. 

The route included stops at various significant places such as Kampala School for the physically handicapped, Mengo Hospital, and Sanyu babies home where different Bible readings were recited to mark the solemn occasion.
