Kampala to Get UGX 550 Billion for Roads and Drainage.



Kampala, Uganda – Over the next three years, the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) will receive 550 billion Ugandan shillings from the government to improve roads and drainage systems in the city.

The money will be used to upgrade, rebuild, and fix roads and drainage facilities. The work will be done by the company Dott Services ltd.

The first part of the project will cover 14.65 kilometers and include 24 roads. These roads are located in different parts of Kampala, including:

Kabaka’s Lake Road and Mapeera Road in Rubaga Division.

Kalinabiri Road in Nakawa Division.

Golf Course Road, Duster Street, and Lower Kololo Terrace in Central Division.

Nsamba Road and St Stephen Hospital Ring Road in Kawempe Division.

St Barnabas Road in Makindye Division.
