Zari and Pinto Honor Ivan Ssemwanga

In a moving display of family and memory, Zari Hassan and her eldest son, Pinto Tlale, took a quiet break from their busy lives this week to visit a place that holds deep meaning for them: the grave of Ivan Ssemwanga.

The visit resonated with many people across the country. In a world that often moves too fast, seeing a family take the time to return to their village to say "we haven't forgotten you" reminded many of the importance of

As they left Kayunga to head back home, the bond between mother and son seemed even stronger, carrying with them the memories of a man who clearly still lives on in their hearts.
