Uganda Beats Niger with Strong Defense and Okello's Skill.

Kampala, Uganda – In a surprising turn of events, the Ugandan football team secured a win against Niger, despite Niger having better stats on paper. The game showed that Uganda's smart strategy and the excellent play of Allan Okello made the real difference. Okello was the key player, scoring the first goal in the 25th minute. He then helped set up the second goal just 11 minutes after the second half started. Even though Niger had more possession of the ball and more accurate passes, Uganda's focus and strong defense led to the victory. This win is especially important for Uganda, as it came after a tough start to the tournament where they lost their first game 3-0. Head coach Morley Byekwaso explained that the team's success was built on good defense and a strong mindset. "We are very happy to have won our second match. New Rules for Stadium Visitors.

A stadium has announced new rules for everyone who comes to watch a game. The new rules are to keep everyone safe and happy. You can no longer bring certain things into the stadium. These include airhorns and whistles. You also cannot bring glass bottles or cans. Big bags and suitcases are now banned, too. Other things you can't bring are video cameras, tools like hammers, and flasks. For everyone's safety, smoke canisters and fireworks are also strictly not allowed.

Entebbe Airport Ready to Welcome CHAN Teams.

Entebbe, Uganda – All preparations are complete at Entebbe Airport to welcome the football teams arriving for the African Nations Championship (CHAN). Uganda is co-hosting the CHAN tournament with Kenya and Tanzania. The games will take place from August 2 to August 30, 2025 . A special arrival booth has been set up at Entebbe Airport just for the arriving teams. Airport officials are working closely with the CHAN organizers. Their goal is to make sure all the teams have a smooth and memorable arrival experience in Uganda.
