Uganda Beats Niger with Strong Defense and Okello's Skill.

Kampala, Uganda – In a surprising turn of events, the Ugandan football team secured a win against Niger, despite Niger having better stats on paper.

The game showed that Uganda's smart strategy and the excellent play of Allan Okello made the real difference.

Okello was the key player, scoring the first goal in the 25th minute. He then helped set up the second goal just 11 minutes after the second half started.

Even though Niger had more possession of the ball and more accurate passes, Uganda's focus and strong defense led to the victory.

This win is especially important for Uganda, as it came after a tough start to the tournament where they lost their first game 3-0.

Head coach Morley Byekwaso explained that the team's success was built on good defense and a strong mindset.

"We are very happy to have won our second match. We lost our first game 3-0, but we didn't give up," Byekwaso said. "We made our defense stronger, encouraged our team leaders, and gave our creative players the freedom to play. In a tournament, defending well and not letting in goals is very important, because you will get chances to score, and when you take them, you win."

Byekwaso's plan successfully stopped Niger's attacks and gave players like Okello the space they needed to shine. Okello’s quick movements and accurate passes were a constant threat to the other team.
