Deputy Speaker Urges Collaboration for Private Universities' Growth.

According to Deputy Speaker, Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, the only way private universities can expand is through collaboration and resource sharing. 

Speaking at the University of Saint Joseph's second graduation ceremony, Tayebwa urged the new university to mobilize like-minded institutions to establish platforms that enable access and sharing of information. 

He also advised private universities to be organized to tap into government resources.

Tayebwa further encouraged the graduates to promote good moral values in the job market and adopt a system that facilitates the use of external examiners to promote credibility. 

The University's Chancellor, Archbishop of Mbarara His Grace, Lambert Bainomugisha, called on the management to focus on skilling learners to create jobs and appealed for increased government support. 

The ceremony saw 184 learners awarded diplomas and conferred Bachelors' degrees in various disciplines.
