Police Rescue Kidnapped Child, Return Him Home.

Kampala, Uganda – Police in Uganda have safely returned a young boy, 2.8-year-old Ivan Bent, to his parents today.

Ivan was kidnapped from his mother in an area called Musajja Alumbwa. The person who took him was identified as Amani Jesteri, who then escaped to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Working with other security groups, the police managed to catch the suspect. They also successfully found Ivan, who was alive and well.

Police officials praised their officers for acting quickly. Their fast response led to the suspect's arrest and the safe rescue of the child.

The suspect is now in police custody and will face charges in court.
