Kampala, Uganda – Today, the Electoral Commission of Uganda met with Ambassadors and other top diplomats from different countries who work in Uganda. The purpose of the meeting was to tell them about the plans for the 2025/2026 General Elections.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kampala. The head of the Electoral Commission, Justice Byabakama Mugenyi Simon, gave the diplomats an update. He spoke about the important steps already completed in the election timeline and what will happen next, leading up to the voting early next year.
